The Month of August

Whew - what a whirlwind! The month of August just flew by. Here are a couple pictures to show the events. You can also view Mom's blog to see more about what we did when she visited us in Seattle.

The month started with a very cold birthday party:

Then there was the intro to T-Ball:

And some fires that needed putting out:

Evidently some knitting was accomplished in between the TBall and the cold swimming:

Then there was the trip to Sweden which warrants it's own blog post. Suffice it to say that we met Pippi Longstocking:

And her horse:

And some wild cats:

And then finally, the day all parents have been waiting for since about mid-July - the first day back to school:

WooHoo!

August went by much too fast - great parental planning to keep the troops busy, busy, busy! It's pretty quiet at Grandma's house w/o all the activity generated by her young Grands. The sneak peek at your Sweden adventure is great - can't wait to view more. Thanks for carrying on the tradition of pics on first day of new school year. Two there with one to go! Your eldest son declared Labor Day to be 'last day of freedom' but today is your turn to jump for joy!

Ahhhh!! The pictures are just great!
Thanks for letting us in on the Sweden adventure....a bit at least!
What fun face painting...nice transformations of those three sweet jewels!
Looks like Summer was a great Success...and you lived through it all!
I, for one, am really glad that you are back!

Oh, good to hear from you! Also so glad to see all the fun and important growing up you've been doing over there. What big kids on their way to school! The knitting's pretty stellar too...:)
