Fudge

No, not the yummy, send me into lactose induced shock, kind. It's much worse than that.

I should have been using my Ernst needles. I had switched the needles out to travel back from California. You know, I wouldn't want to have my Ernst needles taken away. The shawl is all better now.

That'll make your heart skip a couple beats! Glad it's saved!

Whew! Glad you got back home to your Ernst needles! I love the Bagel fur in the background. I had to do a double take - I thought you had a rabbit fur for a second.

I've tried to resist asking this, and can't: was that a Crystal Palace circular? (That happened to me when I accidentally purchased one of the ones with the old glue.) Anyway, glad to see the sts back on the needles!

Fudge? All you said was fudge? Your halo is much, much shinier than mine. ;-) I'm glad you were able to save it, and welcome back to blogland! Oh, and BonVoyage! ;-)

Yikes! Fudge isn't the word I'd have used, but the sentiment is the same. I'm impressed you were able to get everything back together so nicely.

Hate that! Maybe I missed the post, but what are you knitting?

Very restrained of you to only say "Fudge". Good girl.

I gasped when I saw the photo. Glad that things are back on track!

Argh. I had that happen once with a Susanne ebony needle, I put a drop of epoxy into the little brass sleeve at the end of the wooden part and shoved the cable back into the sleeve and it more or less works fine now. Lucky you were working on a fairly straightforward pattern when it happened!

My word verification today is 'coamyekd'. What do you suppose a coamyekd is?
